Dear international guests,
welcome to the Haus am Strom!

Looking forward to your visit!
In the exhibition of the Haus am Strom you are able to use the only water-driven elevator worldwide, observe the impressive Danube valley in a model and learn more about the extraordinary nature along the river. The film about the Danube-valley is with English subtitles.

Furthermore, you are able to cross the Danube using the nearby pedestrian and cyclist passage of the Jochenstein hydro-electric power station, the biggest of its kind in Germany.

Hungry? Enjoy typical Bavarian and Austrian delicacies in our bistro and the lovely beer garden!

We offer guided tours in English through our exhibition,
