Important information for dog owners
Please keep your dog on a leash when hiking through the Donauleiten. Since dogs have a natural hunting instinct, there is a risk that wild animals will be disturbed. To protect the valuable fauna, this should be avoided at all costs. There is also a risk that your dogs could suffer serious, possibly life-threatening damage if they come into contact with the fire salamanders that are common in the area.
