A hike through the nature reserve “Vilsengtal” from Vilshofen to Schönerting and back. Go on a search for traces of granite mining (existed until about 1960). Discover the geological peculiarity of the Vilstal and the diverse fauna and flora in the nature reserve. For refreshment, there is a snack break at the Taferlsee lake, which emerged from a former quarry. After the beaver trace search at the Vils near Schönerting we stop at the cafe Kloster Schweiklberg (path length: 10 km).
